JIC Female to BSPP Male Adapter
Product images and drawings
Compatibility & application
Converts a JIC female 74° cone end to a BSPP male parallel thread. Identify both sides separately — system, thread size and seal type on each. BSPP seals on a bonded face or soft washer, not on the thread. Check the adapter's working pressure against the circuit and the hex size against the space available for a spanner.

An adapter between two interface systems: JIC female 74° cone on one end, BSPP male parallel thread on the other. Used where an existing component cannot be changed and the connection has to be converted.

Hydraulic Adapters
Hydraulic adapters connect two different interfaces — two thread systems, a system and an ORB port, or two sealing geometries. They are used where an existing component cannot be changed and the connection has to be converted.
Selection notes
Identify both sides separately: system, thread size and seal type on each. Check that the hydraulic adapter's pressure rating covers both sides, and check the hex size against the space available for a spanner. A mixed-system hydraulic adapter is often the weakest point in a circuit, so quote its working pressure rather than the system's.
