JIC fittings seal on a 37° metal cone, one of the most widely recognised interface systems in North American hydraulics and in export assemblies built around it. CYT Hydraulic supplies straight and elbow JIC forms across common sizes.
Selection notes
Check the 37° flare angle and the UN/UNF thread size before ordering — 37° JIC is not interchangeable with the 45° flare used on some automotive and lighter equipment. Torque the joint to the cone rather than to feel. When mating a JIC end to another system, use an adapter instead of forcing the thread.
